At Klean NRG, we are undertaking a project aimed at training technicians to equip them with both soft and technical skills relevant to the clean energy sector in Rwanda.
Recently, we initiated outreach efforts across eight districts in the southern and western provinces to engage with local authorities and representatives in the energy sector to discuss our initiative.
We are pleased to report that we have successfully selected 200 candidates from each province for participation in this program.
The first training session for the selected technicians will commence on October 30th in Nyanza District, Southern Rwanda. This session will be followed by three additional training sessions in Huye, Gisagara, and Nyaruguru.
At Klean NRG, we are committed to collaborating with proficient technicians who will be responsible for engaging with end-users, informing them about the opportunities provided by the Cana Uhendukiwe Program, identifying eligible participants for our solar-powered kit, and overseeing its installation at the end-users' residences.
We are confident that these training sessions will not only create new skilled job opportunities across all eight districts where we are implementing our projects but will also empower the trained technicians to successfully install the 13,000 solar-powered kits that Klean NRG aims to deploy within the next six months.
